Johannesburg, 4 November 2025 — Kaizer Chiefs roared back to form in spectacular fashion with a commanding 4–1 victory over Orbit College at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday night, sending a clear message to rivals that the Glamour Boys are far from done this season.
After weeks of scrutiny, pressure, and inconsistency, Nasreddine Nabi’s men produced a performance that was both ruthless and refreshing — blending flair with focus in front of their home supporters.
Early Dominance, Relentless Energy
Chiefs wasted no time asserting their authority. Their attacking intent was rewarded in the 10th minute when Ashley Du Preez pounced on a defensive error to slot home the opener. The pace and precision of Chiefs’ front line left Orbit chasing shadows, and it wasn’t long before Edson Castillo doubled the lead with a powerful header from a well-delivered corner in the 26th minute.
Orbit College tried to regain their composure and managed to pull one back in the 39th minute through Kamohelo Maseko, who fired past Bruce Bvuma with a sharp finish to make it 2–1 at halftime.
Chiefs Step on the Gas
If the first half belonged to Chiefs’ flair, the second was all about their discipline and execution. Just four minutes after the restart, Ranga Chivaviro made it 3–1 with a composed finish after a slick passing move involving Molefi Ntseki and Mduduzi Shabalala.
Orbit’s hopes of a comeback evaporated when substitute Keagan Dolly sealed the victory in the 82nd minute, curling a sublime effort into the top corner to make it 4–1, sending the Amakhosi faithful into raptures.
Coach Nabi: “We Played the Kaizer Chiefs Way”
A satisfied Nasreddine Nabi applauded his team’s balance between attack and control.
“This was the Kaizer Chiefs we want to see — hungry, confident, and united,” Nabi said post-match. “Orbit College made us work, but the boys stayed focused and showed character. Every goal came from teamwork and belief.”
Orbit College coach Lesego Nkoane conceded defeat but praised his players’ determination.
“It was a tough night against a top side, but I’m proud of the effort. Matches like these show our young players what it takes to compete at the highest level.”
A Statement Victory
The emphatic win propels Chiefs into the next round with renewed confidence and growing momentum. More importantly, it gives supporters a glimpse of the attacking power that has long been expected of the Soweto giants.
With goals flowing, confidence restored, and their supporters buzzing again, Kaizer Chiefs 4 – 1 Orbit College will go down as one of their most convincing performances of 2025.
